Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Mifolio (“the service”), operated by Dev Gadde as a sole proprietorship. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. The service

Mifolio converts resume or LinkedIn content you provide into a hosted portfolio website at mifolio.online/yourname. A free preview is available; publishing a full site requires a one-time payment.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (18 in jurisdictions that require it) to use Mifolio. By using the service you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at devgadde6@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the resume data and any content you upload or create through Mifolio. By using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the service on your behalf (generate your site, host it at your chosen URL, serve it to visitors). This license ends when you delete your content or account.

You represent that your uploaded content is yours to upload (it's your resume, your work, or you have permission), and that it doesn't infringe anyone's rights.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload fraudulent resume data or impersonate another person.
  • Use the service to defame, harass, or defraud anyone.
  • Upload content you don't have rights to, or that violates any law.
  • Attempt to probe, scan, or circumvent the security of the service or other users' accounts.
  • Resell, sublicense, or bulk-scrape content from Mifolio.
  • Use the service to send spam, promote hate speech, or publish content that is illegal where you live or where your site is viewed.
  • Attempt to inject malicious code (prompt injection, XSS, etc.) into generated sites.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, at our discretion. Paid-for sites that violate these rules may be taken down without refund.

6. Payments and refunds

Publishing a site is a one-time purchase. Current price is shown on the checkout page before you pay; we may change prices for future purchases but won't retroactively charge you.

Refunds: if the site generation fails on our end (we take your money but don't produce a site), contact us and we'll refund in full. Otherwise, because the service is delivered instantly and the cost to generate is non-recoverable, payments are generally non-refundable. Requests made within 14 days of purchase will be reviewed in good faith.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe; their terms also apply.

7. Availability

We aim to keep Mifolio online but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance, third-party outages (Supabase, Stripe, Anthropic, Vercel), or emergencies may cause downtime. We'll do our best to restore service quickly but we're not liable for losses caused by downtime.

8. Our content

The Mifolio name, logo, code, design, prompts, and templates are our property. You don't acquire any rights to these by using the service, beyond the right to view and interact with the public product.

9. AI-generated content

Portfolio sites are generated by AI models based on your input. We don't guarantee factual accuracy of AI output; you're responsible for reviewing your site and fixing any errors before sharing it. The AI is a tool — not a substitute for your own judgment about what to publish.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. WE'RE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

12. Termination

You can delete your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or if required by law. On termination, your published sites become unreachable and your data is deleted per our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email (for registered users) or a notice on the site. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of New York County, NY, or — at our discretion — through binding arbitration under the rules of JAMS.
